Charles Fränkl

Charles Fränkl, 53, has been CEO of Gigaset AG since 01.01.2012.

In his long management career, the qualified telecommunications engineer held positions at several leading companies in the industry, including the position of CEO at Vodafone Information Systems and AOL. At the Swiss Swisscom, he served as director of the "Data and Multimedia Products" division. As CEO he was able to position Click & Buy as one of the most important payment platforms and managed to gain Deutsche Telekom as a buyer.

As chairman of the Gigaset AG board, Charles Fränkl is responsible for Marketing, Product Development, Supply Chain, Mergers & Acquisitions and Innovation Strategy.

Dr. Alexander Blum

Mr. Blum earned his doctorate at the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel, which was followed by several years as a consultant at a large, international consulting firm, before he started in operations at Gigaset AG in 2008. Here he managed the restructuring of Gigaset Communications GmbH from the start before being appointed as CFO in February 2010, when the management board was extended. He has contributed significantly in focusing Gigaset as a medium-sized, profitable company and has expanded its global finance and controlling structures.

 

As Chief Financial Officer of Gigaset AG Dr. Blum is responsible for Finance, Legal, HR and IR on the Holding level.

Maik Brockmann
At the age of 23 years Maik Brockmann was in the management team of a medium-sized company as sales and marketing manager. Five other middle management positions in sales and purchasing with companies in transitional situation followed.

Since 1998, Mr. Brockmann already worked in the restructuring of SMEs and has, in recent years, actively supported and driven the development of 26 subsidiary companies. Since 2006, Maik Brockmann has worked for ARQUES Industries AG responsible for cost cutting and restructuring purchasing. In 2008 Maik Brockmann was also responsible for operational financing in the various companies. Prior to his appointment to the board he served as Vice President Operations and headed the ARQUES task force. Before joining ARQUES Industries AG, he served as Executive of a medium-sized company.

He is a member of the Supervisory Board of Planners Villa AG.

Maik Brockmann was born on January 13. 1974 and is married with one daughter. He and his family live in Hanover.
