A headset can be connected via Bluetooth, and the phone book, which has space for up to 500 contact addresses, can be synchronized with the Outlook database on a computer. Gigaset market studies: Hands free for multitasking. Vast majority of users do other things while talking on the phone.
More and more people do a wide variety of other things while talking on the phone, and they want to keep their hands free. Market studies conducted by Gigaset Communications, the European market leader for cordless phones, show that around two-thirds (66 percent) of those surveyed now use their phone’s handsfree feature. 12 percent use a headset. The preferred activities while phoning include cooking, ironing, housework and surfing in the Internet, according to the survey, which was conducted to coincide with the launch of the new Gigaset L410 Handsfree Clip.
