Full freedom of movement: Relaxed phoning with the Gigaset L410 handsfree clip
Now there is a real innovation for anyone wishing to phone and do other things at the same time: the Gigaset L410 handsfree clip. It gives users complete freedom of movement, enabling them to make calls in outstanding voice quality without having to hold the phone in their hands. Unlike with a headset, they do not have anything attached to their ear – the Gigaset L410 is simply clipped to their clothing and, weighing just 30 grams, is hardly noticeable. This compact world first has already captured the prestigious red dot design award 2011 for its refined, elegant design and ease of use thanks to a concept employing just two keys.
The Gigaset L410 DECT handsfree clip offers true mobility for calls at home, allowing users to take care of other things at the same time – cooking, working on the computer or surfing in the Internet. According to a survey by Gigaset Communications, 79 percent of respondents do other things while phoning, particularly working in the home: 29 percent use the time to cook or work in the kitchen; 29 percent straighten things up or do the ironing or washing; another 27 percent sit at the computer and need their hands to type.
The compact, portable and above all light handsfree device can be simply clipped to clothing. All users need to do to receive a call or hang up is to press the large phone key. The second key is used to adjust the volume of the ringtone and loudspeaker.
Installation is just as easy: When the clip is used for the first time, it is registered with the base station of the DECT phone, just like any DECT handset. The Gigaset L410 is very economical with battery power, too. As a result, it does not run down, even during long calls, and enables a talk time of up to 5 hours before having to be recharged.
The Gigaset L410 handsfree clip can be used with all Gigaset phones and DECT base stations from other vendors. The Gigaset models S810/S810A, SL400/SL400A and C610/C610A also support call transfer from the handset to the Gigaset L410 and back at the touch of a single key. This voice hopping is a world’s first in voice communications.
Gigaset Communications will offer the handsfree clip in Germany at 49.99 euros (recommended retail price) as of May 2011. The bundle with the fully compatible Gigaset C610 costs 99.99 euros.
