Siemens Gigaset E360 and E365 offer elegance, ease and security for both young and old
Siemens’ new Gigaset E360 and E365 cordless phones have been designed specifically to meet the needs of older people and families with children. They offer practical features combining ease of use, comfort and security with stylish ergonomic design. They are fitted with large illuminated keys and an easy-to-read display, as well as four speed dial buttons, to save your most important numbers. The Gigaset E365 is also equipped with an answering machine and emergency call feature, enabling users to reach emergency services or loved ones quickly and easily in times of crisis. The Gigaset E360 costs 79.95 Euro and the E365 129.95 Euro. Additional handsets and charging stations are also available to purchase in stores.

Gigaset DX800A – the new all-round phone for professionals sets high standards
With its Gigaset DX800A, Gigaset Communications presents a new highlight in professional telephony for small firms and offices with up to four employees. The innovative features and modern, clear design in a high-quality color combination of silver and matt and high-gloss black make the Gigaset DX800A the first choice for everyone who attaches importance to a modern, appealing office ambience. The DX800A’s versatility enables calls to be made via VoIP and the fixed network, either over the ISDN or analog line, and represents a future-proof all-in-one solution that can grow as business expands. Up to six DECT handsets can be integrated, four calls held simultaneously (two each via ISDN and VoIP) and three answering machines configured for different numbers. Mobile phones and headsets are integrated with the system via Bluetooth, while the Link2mobile function enables phoning in the mobile network or calls to the mobile phone to be taken by the DX800A or registered DECT handsets. Equipped with two Ethernet ports (switch), the phone can be connected quickly and easily to the PC and Web and thus enables software updates, data synchronization and access to online services. The phone book has space for up to a thousand contacts stored in the form of vCards and can be synchronized with the PC or Mac.

Visitors are not only announced by the sound of the doorbell, but also via audio-visual alerts on every Gigaset handset in the house. At the touch of a button, users can speak to visitors standing at the front door, open the door and even switch on the light. Call forwarding also allows users to control these functions from a mobile phone. The intercom needs no special wiring and can replace the existing door bell using existing cabling. Registering the intercom with the Gigaset’s base station is as simple as registering an additional handset.

Gigaset Communications is introducing a new function that links mobile phones to a telephone system. “link2mobile” is installed on the Gigaset DX600A, DX800A and DL500A, three new desktop phones for the home, the home office and small firms with up to four employees. The new function integrates mobile phones in a telephone system via Bluetooth so that fixed-network phones can be used to take incoming calls from a mobile phone and to make calls over the GSM network.
