By optimizing the packaging used for its telephones, Gigaset Communications will soon save about 150 tons of paper each year while also dramatically reducing its logistics and process costs. In the fall of 2007, the company had already taken a clear position regarding environmental protection with a comprehensive ECO DECT offensive and its certification to ISO 14001.

Before it goes into series production, a Gigaset is subjected to tough tests to make sure it can withstand drops, dust, jolts and cold.
