Elegant and modern shape characterizes the appearance of the new Gigaset A490/A490 Duo. The convenient size and proportion such as the big keys underline its ease of use. Ergonomics are reflected by single grand scale keys and a handy shape.

The phonebook of the Gigaset A490/A490 Duo have a capacity for up to 80 entries. If the CLIP function is enabled, users can call up a list containing the names, numbers and time stamps for the last 10 callers, which can be dialed directly.

Soft keys for quick selection of functions and a new ergonomic keypad in high quality material enable a pleasant handling of telephone calls. The ease of use is supported by an illuminated display and keypad that ensure an easy operation even in the dark.

With the power-saving ECO DECT technology, transmitting power is reduced to almost zero when the handset is docked. Additionally, the reduction of transmitting power is variable according to the distance between the handset and the base station.

With its integrated hands-free feature, the new Gigaset model A490/A490 Duo offer greater mobility and flexibility for callers. The volume of the handset sound is adjustable and can be switched in three steps.

With a long talk time of up to 12 hours and a standby time of up to 177 hours, there is enough time to exchange the latest news with family and friends. The Gigaset A490/A490 Duo are expandable up to 4 additional handsets.
