The Gigaset SE461 modem and router are standards-based wireless end devices for high-speed, last-mile broadband connectivity to residential users and small/home offices.

The Gigaset SE461 operates in Non-Line-of-Sight (NLOS), below the roof line, and provides the interface to the user’s equipment and the RF processing on a single main board. It is powered from the mains via its power supply unit. The RF connector can be connected to multiple types of antenna depending on use cases and radio conditions.

The Gigaset SE461 device provides an efficient platform for high-speed internet/intranet services and for any type of voice and real-time services. The device provides its subscribers with fast access to IP-based services, a typical user experience of multiple Mbps, and a peak data rate of 20 Mbps (total throughput). Connecting to existing customer environments and devices is easy with the standard 10/100 BaseT Ethernet interface.

Other features include indoor connectivity, self-installing convenience, compact design, networking capability, Ethernet connectivity, multi-level QoS via traffic classification and SLA enforcement and remote configuration, management and software upgrades.
