Highly compatible with most routers - so it's truly versatile
Phone calls are becoming digital: Almost all connections are now IP based, so most people are already making calls over the Internet. There are many advantages to this, such as excellent HD sound quality, the ability to connect to three phone numbers at a time and being able to conduct multiple conversations simultaneously. You can enjoy all of these features with the universal Gigaset HX cordless handsets. As they're compatible with all DECT/CAT-iq-enabled routers, such as FRITZ!Box or Telekom Speedport, they're incredibly versatile - so you can carry on using them even if you change your router.
HD Voice and hands-free mode - so communication can be enjoyable
What's your favourite way to call someone? Do you prefer to speak directly into the handset to keep your calls private, or are you a fan of hands-free mode so others can join in with the conversation and so that you can get on with other tasks? The Gigaset A690HX lets you decide. No matter which model you choose, you'll always get crystal-clear sound quality with HD Voice. Adjustable sound profiles and the certified quality standard mean conversations sound like they're happening face-to-face and muffled speech is a thing of the past.
Block unwanted callers - so you're only disturbed when you want to be
The Gigaset A690HX lets you switch off when you need to. With call protection, you can easily ignore unknown callers, anonymous callers from a withheld number or specific numbers. Manually enter up to 32 unwanted phone numbers in the blacklist or transfer numbers directly from the call history log. If the blacklist is activated, any phone calls from numbers in the list are either rejected or only appear on the display. With the additional time control option, you can also specify when you want the handset to ring - and when you want a bit of peace and quiet.
Comfortable and intuitive handling - for maximum comfort while you talk
If you want to challenge yourself, do a crossword puzzle - but if you're looking for something more relaxing, choose the simple, intuitive handling of a Gigaset A690HX. The ergonomic keypad with illuminated keys makes it easier to dial long numbers. The large, high-contrast, black-and-white graphic display with backlight makes it easy to keep track as you navigate effortlessly through the device's simple menu.
Large phone book and long talk time - for a phone you can count on
No matter how stressful life gets, you can always rely on one thing: your phone. 180 hours of standby time mean you're always reachable, and the 14 hours of talk time mean you won't miss out on what's important. The phone book can store up to 150 names and numbers, so all of your contacts are at your fingertips. And if you don't make it to the phone in time, the call history log makes it easy to call back in the press of a button - the last 25 numbers are clearly displayed.
Simply log on to the router - so your phone is always close by
Looking for a phone that's always within easy reach, wherever you need it - in the bedroom, kitchen or hallway? It's all possible with the Gigaset A690HX. The handset directly logs in to the DECT feature on your router, so you no longer need a base station and can keep your device anywhere in the room for even more flexibility.
If you want to expand your landline system with additional handsets, the Gigaset AS690HX can also be connected to a telephone base station.
Always environmentally friendly - and radiation-free thanks to ECO DECT
Like all Gigaset cordless phones, the Gigaset A690 series is equipped with environmentally friendly ECO DECT technology. This means that the phones are radiation-free in standby mode, even when you're using multiple handsets, provided that the base and all connected handsets support ECO DECT too. During a call, the transmission power automatically adapts to the distance between the handset and the base. The smaller the distance between the handset and the base, the lower the radiation. For maximum DECT range, you can disable ECO DECT mode at any time.
