And how do you deal with three answering machines? No different than with one: Operation is very simple via the web interface or via the Gigaset HX handset (CAT-iq 2.1). Whichever you prefer.
Better control: Be more independent with three answering machines
It rings! And rings and rings... With the Gigaset COMFORT 550A IP BASE's three answering machines, you're guaranteed never to miss a call - no matter what time of day. Make yourself independent of incoming calls - the Gigaset base station's web configurator takes care of contact management. It controls the answering machine according to your wishes, your announcements are configured in 15-minute intervals for each day of the week. After business hours or at the weekend, your calls can be automatically diverted to answering machines. The length of the recorded messages and customised messages can also be set up and configured to suit your needs.

Can you give me your number? You often hear this - even if you don't hear from each other later. The base station of the Gigaset COMFORT 550A IP BASE helps you maintain your contacts: In addition to the local phonebooks of the connected Gigaset HX handsets, it offers a central phonebook for up to 500 entries. If you have even more contacts, thanks to the integration of Google and Microsoft 365 accounts, 1,000 additional contacts can be saved. So no numbers or contacts are lost. Calls are initiated directly from the handset by simply clicking on the phone number in the web configurator: this keeps you flexible and is also very user-friendly. Communication can be so simple.
Better protected: No nuisance calls thanks to call protection
Peace and quiet at last! There are phone calls that you are not so happy about, that may even be annoying or fraudulent. With Gigaset call protection, such unwanted calls can be blocked automatically. With this function, you can easily add 100 numbers in the handset and up to 1,000 numbers in the base station to the blacklist: Calls from these numbers will then no longer be put through. If you wish, Gigaset call protection can also block anonymous calls: This means that if someone calls you without a transmitted phone number, they will not be able to reach you either. This prevents unwanted advertising or scam calls and effectively protects your privacy.
Better is better: More compatibility and flexibility when making calls
Where's the phone again? With the Gigaset COMFORT 550A IP BASE, you always have one to hand. The base station is perfect for your home, home office or small business. You can connect up to six Gigaset HX handsets to it, which are best distributed in several rooms: in the kitchen, dining room, bedroom or work areas. As the Gigaset IP BASE is connected to the router via LAN, you can set it up in a place with the best wireless coverage. And if you need more range, simply integrate a Gigaset DECT repeater into the system. Incidentally, you can make up to four calls at the same time with the IP BASE, and internal calls are also possible at any time.
