Connected via Microsoft Teams SIP Gateway
Microsoft Teams has implemented a SIP gateway that will be integrated into the Gigaset IP DECT systems via a firmware update. This makes it possible to use the Gigaset N610/N670/N870/N870E single and multi-cells with Microsoft Teams. Users can log in to Microsoft Teams with their company credentials and then make calls via Teams using their Gigaset Professional DECT phone.
Simple configuration via autoprovisioning
The DECT IP systems are automatically configured via autoprovisioning. For completion, only the handsets then need to be registered as Teams participants. The process is as follows:
- The Gigaset IP DECT system is installed by a certified reseller (N610 IP PRO, N670 IP PRO, N870 IP PRO, N870E IP PRO)
- The Gigaset Professional DECT handsets are registered by the reseller/admin (S700H PRO, SL800H PRO, R700H PRO*)
- After successful registration of the handset, the system is automatically configured via autoprovisioning
*The predecessor models S650H PRO, SL750H PRO and R650H PRO are also compatible
Convenient use from any location
A user can log in both in the office using a handset registered to the office's N870 IP PRO multi-cell system, and in the home office using the single-cell N610 IP PRO. There is no need to log off when leaving the office or home office, as incoming calls ring at both locations. The most important functions of Teams can be conveniently controlled via the handset's hardware keys.
You can find more detailed information on the setup, installation and registration of the handsets on our Gigaset Professional Wiki page.
